With 25hp for $10K, I'd trade in for 550i or M5

The 25hp increase is from the manifolds alone so the full system should yield more hp.

But I agree with you...might as well trade in for an M5.

Nah, did you read the post where the original poster said money isn't an issue as long as the quality is excellent? daytrader0 is willing to pay the premium for a real quad conversion and the best and most expensive one is RDSport.

Ah, LOL, ok

Gents,

I contacted Hamann in Germany to find an exclusive distributor in the U.S. To my surprised, the distributor is located here in my neighborhood. I contacted the co. and they said they will have price for quad exhaust, front bumper, rear diffuser and even wide body upgrade. He saids, the quad exhaust would not cost more than 3K. He invited me come down to talk and see his operation.

3K or less would be nice for me to upgrade. I'll let you all know the result.

Where are you located? I'd be interested in a real quad exhaust from Hamann for less than 3K.

WheelPower in SoCal is a Hamann distributor. I think they might even be the exclusive distributor in the US.

I don't think Hamann has a true quad setup. The one on the right is a dummy non-functional one.

Well, I'm back. It's real working quad exhaust system for E60. If you buy it there is modification need to be done. OEM exhaust has a second fuel sensor in the rear of the muffler. So you need the muffler shop to heat bend the pipe. Also, you need to have a metal bracket weld to the car rear frame to hook the second muffler. It is a catback system so you don't get problem with BMW dealer and warranty. By the way, the system with all the stuff is in the neighborhood of 4K. If there is a group buy then there will be discount. It's all depend on how many orders.

Oh guys! When I was there I was able to see, touch, listen to that quad exhaust singing to me on a special project silver platinum E60 non M5 from one of his customer. I need to find a good muffler shop near my home that can do this modification.
