My worse nightmare has come true. The rear bumper is awaiting some parts and finishing, but the quad exhaust is done . . . maybe. I'll post a sound clip later in a separate thread and let you guys/gals figure out what kind of monster I have under the belly. Here's some pics for hints.

I'm not particularly proud of the sound level at 1500-2100 rpm on acceleration. Here's another hint: It louder than an M5 and the BMW mod shop next door LOVED IT. The sound is a real attendent getter. I might have to get use to it, but I know I'm going to get choke tonight by the wife.

I think the M5 bumper needs 90mm tips to fill them out nicely, but nonetheless they look good! I'm assuming you went straight pipes based off your description.

Are your tips staggered the wrong way? They look inverted. Shorter on the inside and longer on the outside.

The M5 bumper (lower lip) angles and not straight across. The tips are equal length, though I wish they were larger and staggered. Nonetheless, these tips and rear m5 bumpers aren't very photogenic. The 90mm (~3.5 inches) would look too large since they will hang over the bottom of the bumper, though, if they were oval 3" x 3.5/3.75, that might look really cool. Then again, that size might even touch and melt the bumper inners. I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

Could someone with 3.5+ tips post a pic or two?

Look ma, no sight of mufflers! Seeing a muffler box from a car was a pet-peeve of mine. Even the stock mufflers, which were concealed, can been seen from the side. Now, they're gone. There's another hint in the pics.

Looks like I guessed right and you went with straight pipes. I think it would look better if you have your muffler shop adjust the tips so they're closer to the outer edge of the bumpers instead of centered. Bigger tips would help too.
