I don't know as how much M5 bumper etc cost - as I did not price it..but this Hamann diffuser is really not that expensive. I purchased through Ats and it is very reasonably priced for 399 Euros ( plus a minimal shipping cost). That is all...

No. The M5 has a higher pitch to it due to the V10. Torquey5 has a sound clip of my RDSport exhaust. I'm going to see him tonight. Hopefully, he hasn't deleted it. If he has I'll record one for you on Saturday. Seems like you can't wait another month to hear the RDSport exhaust for the V8.

Man, it just sounds different. V10 versus V8. Dunno if higher pitch is the right explanation.

So let me see if I understand what you did:
**M5 Bumper---(where do you get this--cost for part and install)
**RD Sport Quad Exhaust---(where do you get this---cost for part and install)
Total Cost for Everything?
This is cheaper than Hamann where you have to get the Diffuser first and then the exhaust?
It's not really discussed much but switching out the exhaust to a quad---do you gain any performance improvement or is this just pure aesthetic enhancement?

1. M5 bumper: The part alone was $400. Then I ended up paying $400 for paint. The reason painting was expensive was they needed to match my color exactly. Just having my paint code (A36) isn't enough. They took my gas cap to get an exact match. Installation charge was $85. Total cost = $885.
2. RDSport quad exhaust: 2 mufflers (silencers) with quad tips, x-pipe and shipping and handling was $3K. Installation was $250. Total cost = $3250
Grand total = $4135.
The Hamann diffuser apparently is $540. Add shipping and paint might bring you close to $800. It looks to me that going with either Hamann diffuser or M5 rear bumper is a wash. Both are about $800 total.
I used to think that adding an aftermarket exhaust doesn't add any significant hp. I still kinda think that. All you're getting is better exhaust flow. HP and torque gain, if any, is found mid to top end. Aftermarket exhausts are best for visual and audio appearance.
