Yeah, I stumbled upon the idea of the red while searching for glass etching. 
Found a image on a Lexus forum where he posted a pic of a Maybach headlight. Then when I clicked it, I saw the Lexus RX with the blue behind the projector. 
That's what I'm going to do.

really nice job so far dk. the idea is to push the envelope and do something we haven't seen yet and so far you have. I can't wait to see the final result im so jealous, although i love my prelci blackouts all the ideas discussed make me think about upgrading already.

Where do you get so many headlights from to practise around man? I mean, they´re not cheap to just to play science lab !?!?!? I´d love to do the mods to the heads, but I can´t have the lights out for 3-4 days.... I can try at the wrecked car part dealer......

I only had one broken pre-LCI halogen headlight to practice on. After that, went to work on the ones on the car. You don't have to get LCI to practice with. Try your local shop or junkyard. Also helps to have a daily driver.
Are you going to have any yellow on the car to tie it all together?

i know it look out a place..but i will deal with it...
maybe i will do yellow hid angel -high beam and fog lights.
