hmmm, it doesnt look too dark to me....personally i think the Orions are a bit too bright, they really wash-out at night unfortunately....the tint may be the perfect solution.

Looks awesome! I have no guts to cut open my headlights. I tried it once with a spare part and it didn't go well.

Keep up!

Thanks.

They look good at night. But the during the daytime, it's a bit dim. I'll try like a very fine coat and check again.

Danny & Kenny! Huge thanks on the awesome job on my Orions!

I'll wait for a couple of days before I wash the car and take a few shots. BTW Active Headlamps work - I saw the lights moving when I started the car in the evening, so it must be some kind of a programming issue due to taking out and putting the heads back in. I think I've seen something about this in the threads somewhere - I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, thanks again and best of luck to you guys!

Nice update! Like the idea with tinting them. Can't wait to see them at night.

Yeah, DK, that does look like a darker shade of tint than how I blacked my experiment set. The other downside besides losing brightness is the space between each LED is caused to appear more pronounced.

What are LCI's and pre LCI's? I have an 07 white M5 that I just picked up and it has 08 headlights.

Been busy lately with others. Just finished with them and sealed up mine yesterday.

Hummm, looks like you are not sealing it the same way as I am. You're still doing it the old way, haha.

Yea. I'm using what I know works. Don't want to mess with a good thing.
