:'(

I just had my first flat tire on my 2004 530i. Had to deal with the phony spare - my first for my BMWs. Is there a way to rearrange the tire well to accept a full size tire?

I was very uncomfortable out in the middle of nowhere (on my Colorado mountain short trip) and had to go about 120 miles out of my way to get the tire fixed on Sunday, July 3.

Anybody replaced the doughnut with full size??? Thanks for any help.

Jim

the main thing i don't like about the spare it that they don't want you to break 50 or 60 mph.

No I do not think so. In my 535D, I puchased the option of the spare tyre (in Europe we have to pay to get it because of the runflat) and there is no sufficient room under the trunck floor to allow a full size spare.

But knowing the speed limit in the US, is the spare wheel delivered not sufficient to drive several hundreds of miles?
