My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
06 xi stick sport pk, wanna get the staggered with either 10s in the back, or 9.5s with spacers, but I don't wanna go super low on the sidewall - is that doable?
I tried searching, but didn't find anything...
OEM circumference 80.8in
245/30/20 - 81in (almost perfect)
285/25/20 - 80.5in (")
NM i see...
EDIT: I did some more searching and I see that it would only work if I didn't have a winter and summer setups, which would necessitate having to reprog the speedo every time I went from one to the other - impractical...

And you can go 245/35 and 285/30 if you want, for more sidewall. The 35/30 might not be ideal compared to OEM circumferences, but it works and offers more protection.
If you need any help on the offsets, find some rims you want and shoot me a PM re: the offsets. I'll calculate if they'll fit or not.

Thanks!

19s are better for performance driving (less unsprung weight on the car than comparable 20) and are more resistant to damage from road hazards. But you know all that already.
20s make a great visual statement. The Miros are beautiful wheels. I also like the V710s which are also very competitively priced. When looking for my winter wheels, I got a great offer on them from Michael at Acute Performance (in 18 inch sizes) but, in an abudance of caution, I opted for OEM 123s.
Sounds like you will be stuffing some pretty big wheels in your wheel wells.
