What did u end up doinq?

 

The shop ended up shaving the plastic bracket on the inside of the bumper on both sides to allow them to lift up without a problem. I'll post pics of the finished job tonite.

 

I just did the install last weekend and ran into the same problem. I hooked it up and the cover wasn't even lining up correctly. I ended up just using the bracket that disables them. I never liked the feature since it would put water spots on the car. Be sure to post pics of your car when done!
