i dont know how to do it but i know that when i had my infiniti i had the center screen and they had to put another dvd in my glove box that works on another signal i had to flick a button under my steering wheel and it would switch to dvd and i also got a gps aftermarket on another signal. but you might just be able to hack it. i wouldnt do it myself i would take it to a shop you dont want to mess non of the electronics.

It's a safety hazard, but there is a way you can by pass it. Try searching it on the bar because I remember reading something about either cutting a wire or something that can by pass the plug.

I had a aftermarket flip up monitor in my range rover and it wont play because its a safety mechanism. i took it to a audio video place and they wired a toggle switch and it worked perfect. So head to a popular audio video and they can hook it up.

hope that helps

When I had my Infiniti also, I had a switch. It flips the video source from my nav to the dvd player (ps2). A shop on 22 west did the install for me, Installations Unlimited since I see your in Union County.
