Do a search. You'll be amazed at what you find. Welcome to the board.

Um. If you're calling the board "...a shady website"? Why are you asking us for information in the first place?

Searching is the most efficient way to review discussions about the topic. And you will most likely find your answer. Nobody is going to help you by calling them "shady".

Dude relax... I think the OP got confused and understood "search" as in searching the world-wide-web and not searching this particular site to see other posts/topics that already covered this.

I've looked into doing this mod, but put it on the long-term to-do list for now (concentrating on smth else at the moment). But yes, people say that this is a legit improvement. For my engine (N52) the swap costs about 400 from Dinan and they claim smth like 7 hp gains. In the case of N52 engine though, there're so few mods out there, that its almost like every horsepower counts, every pound hurts performance (we have drivers on this board doing P90X program to improve their car's performance ). Anyway, this wouldn't be the first thing I'd look at - start with an RPI scoop+BMC filter combo, chip it, put an exhaust on it and then do the throttle body - that's how I'd do it.

I remember reading somewhere that the Dinan Throttle Body is just a bored out OEM throttle body...

OP: on another note, have you considered a quaife LSD as well?

i think he was referring to the Dinan site being "shady" by not having testimonials. he would much rather have the input of the forum!
