i just messaged plastic dip reps to see how many cans it would take or if there was a different way to do it. Wouldn't it be easier to just wrap the top?

The downside with any spray is the other dust that would land on the surface while it dries.

Oh...and I mean by spraying the larger surface roof. The wheels however should be more manageable since you can cover it with something as it dries.

or do it in a garage with no wind/dust/debris to get in it?

or outside and do the whole car and it still come out good?
the www.dipyourcar.com website is good and has some unique color not offered anywhere else in case you wanna get crazy

...honestly I am not sure I would do it to my roof (my roof is wrapped btw) just because I am super picky about paint and it being flawless. Dont get me wrong the wheels came out with a perfect finish but I like my paint to be flawless and shiny

this stuff dries real fast so there's not a lot of time at all for dirt or dust to get in. like was said earlier you can get a real smooth finish if you keep the can only a couple inches away. The further away you spray the grainier it will be.

I have been considering trying this product, was just concerned it gave a cheap look. But from the photos above it looks almost as if the wheels were professionally powdercoated. Plus this peals off easily if you decide to go back to the original wheels right?

My grille has been plastidipped for over a year now and no problems. Its been through many power washes, snow, rain, heat, someone even egged my car and it got all over the grille.....the egg came off but the dip stayed.
