Hey Guys,

I?m planning to buy a new wheels for my ride and question runnin? through my mind that will this wheels fit my car generally (2004 E60 -525).

The wheels 20??all 4 wheels are the same size as written below:
1) Size - 20'x8.5'
2) Bolt Pattern -5x120
3) Offset - 15 or 38 (the only available offsets size on these wheels)

The question is: ?What offset should be wheels to fit exactly??

What tire sizes will fit these wheels??

Front - 245/35/20
Rear ? 275/30/20 (note that all 4 wheels are same size as at the front and rear).

need your feedback
Thanks

Congrats on the new purchase!!!!!!!! Let the Modding begin. Although I am not as super technically informed as some of the others on here. A couple of quick things to note, I think with 20" wheels you may need to go with a smaller tire ratio, like 30 series front and 25 series rear. As when I was looking at twinkies those were the tire sizes i got.

Also I notice you want to run 275's in the rear, check with your the tire manufactures specs as as I am not sure if they will recommend running 275's on an 8.5" rim, you might need a 9-9.5" rim minimum to run that wide of a tire. Why are you running a wider tire at the rear, yet the same rim size, are you not interested in staggared sized wheels? If you run two different tire sizes and the same size rim you still loose the benefit of rotating your tires. I would run the same size all around or stagger the rims. Also with an 8.5" at rears youre probably going to want to get some spacers as thats a pretty small wheel for the rear of an E60, unless your car is an XI.

Also if you really wanted to cheat got to www.discounttiredirect.com or www.tirerack.com and you can plug in your car with some rims and it will tell you what tires sizes they recommend based on the rims sizes you select.

Good luck

Hey IceyTys,

thanks for the usefull info but I'm still looking for a chance to fit bigger tires on a rear wheels...the problem that I'm not looking for the staggered wheels is the rims which I really liked not manufactured or possible to find as staggered. However, I don't wanna other wheels...

but probably I'll use spacers on rear wheels, just interested can I use 275 with 10 mm spacers...or it just all wheels around same size but rears 10 mm outer then front with 245/35/20 tires on it?

any ideas...

the ideal size would be
Rear: 20X10 offset +23 Tires: 275/30/20
Front: 20X9 offset +23 Tires: 245/35/20

Ive had 20X10.5 with +17 offset and 20X9 with +11 offset, and they rub like crazy on 245/35/20 and 275/30/20
In the other hand, I've had 20X10 offset +23 and 20X9 offset +23 on 295/25/20 and 255/30/20 and no rubbing at all.
What I'm trying to say is that it all depends on the offset.
always go with staggered wheels for better looks!

problem is that I've already a new set of Vredestein tires(4 pcs) and I've got practically for free
All four(4) tires are 245/35/20 size and I'm lookin' for the staggered wheels and trying to fit this tires on 20x8,5 (FR) and 20x9,5 (RR). Before I made a mistake, am lookin' for advises.
