My Ride: 2004 BMW E60 530i, upgrades: Magnaflow exhaust, Mtec angel eyes and low beam head lights, Just purchased 172 style wheels, looking around for the best tires on Tire Rack now. R1 concepts rotors drilled/slotted. Saving for the M-style kit from Trinity Auto.
I recently put on a set of four new Falken 452 tires (switched from Hankook's). They make me feel like I have Run-Flat Tires all over again. I hate them and can't wait to wear them out so I can get new ones. Comparatively to the 275/30/20 Hankook's, the new Falken 452's are making my back wheels looking wimpy due to its "rounded" sidewalls.
Personally, I think Hankooks or Potenza are better choices for just a few extra bucks. The Continental DWS also have good reviews...

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Before getting my alignment done and getting rid of a TON of negative camber - my Falken 452s lasted nothing, 6 sets of rears in 2 years. Since the alignment? I have the same set of rear tires since getting the 6th set last May, very happy with my Falkens. They are a good tire for the money and they can last quite a while.

Have falkens on the rear of my car because i needed the narrower and rounded shoulder to stop rubbing even after i had my arches rolled and they are a good tyre for the money, wear is not too bad, should get around 10,000 miles off a set if you drive it quite hard but never track, and more if you drive sensibly! Not very good in the rain though...

I had 20" 452's (can't remember the exact sizes) on mine for about a year before selling it and they were great. I had a good alignment and everything so the wear was even and I didn't notice excessive wear.
