I've been researching this unit and was wondering if anyone has looked into this pioneer all in one nav system. It seems possible to install this unit just underneath the air condition controls where the cubby hole is for none nav e60.

I saw an e60 with this unit installed but unfortunately couldn't find the owner of it to ask him some questions. So it can be done.

I have a few of these in my truck. I think the latest one is the X1. There is A LOT of negotiation margin in there. At leat 20%.
They work great.

One problem, your E60 does not have a din slot.

$2000? Couldn't you get NAV retrofitted on a non-NAV E60 for that amount of money. Or at least have it installed as an option at the start? Just pricey IMO. But hope it all works out for you!!!
