This is the genuine M-tech spoiler (the dealer parts rep in London looked it up on the BMW parts CD and ordered it for me). I don't quite remember whether it had any raised markings or not, however, it did have a white sticker with handwritten numbers on it. You can see it in the photo below:

Actually the spoiler only came primed. Even though the M body kit comes either painted or primed it seems like the M trunk lid spoiler only comes primed. I had it painted by a body shop here in LA.
