Agreed. Auburn looks great on black cars, and Alpine for that matter.

The E60.net community is great, but once in a while, a negative person like Miss finds this site when they should go where all the other bitter trolls are (Roadfly).

Oh, I see now. It's OK to say I'm "insane" because I don't like the color, or it's OK to call me a "negative" person for voicing my opinion, but it's not OK for me to say that I think a particular color interior is ugly? ROFL, you guys must be rejects from some ultraliberal organization the way you can twist that around and justify it

[quote name='UUronL' date='Jun 27 2005, 07:28 PM']This forum is refreshingly civil, and I'm sure most of us would like to keep it that way.? It is bad form to cast aspersions on a member due to the model of car she owns (grammatically correct usage, not meant to imply anything about you or your car), and taste in colors and options is also a bit personal - as the reaction that one has to them should be.?

Remember, this forum has a considerably diverse membership with many hailing from non-US locations.? Most do not share the love of expressed opinions the way we Americans do.

Welcome aboard, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here - we're a very friendly group!

Darling, nobody is here to win style points. It's not debate club at Yale University, it's a sharing of information, including opinions. When I offer my opinions, you or anyone else, is free to ignore me. But please darling, don't get your panties twisted when some goober calls me a troll and I call him on it. And no matter how much you might like to smile, sip tea and pretend all is well...that's still an ugly color interior and I don't mind saying so.

Sigh. That's what I get for trying to make some sense... and some peace. I must suffer the disrespect of being called a "pet" name (Darling), accused of a female affliction (getting my panties twisted), and you imply that I am a milquetoast (debate club... sipping tea).

I'm not going to stoop to your level and call you names or hurl insults at you, but then you probably knew that and were most likely counting on it. You purport to tell us all what this forum is and is not, yet you just got here. I will tell you what it is not; it is not your personal battleground. Not everything is a battle in this life, and yes at times it is perfectly alright to sit back, smile, and sip tea or whatever one might feel inclined to do. Feel free to act any way you like and treat all your "opponents" in this deplorable manner, but don't think for a second that it makes you the better person.

Yep.....I'm definately having Roadfly flashbacks.....

I have been on this forum for almost two years now and there have been thousands of posts with people expressing their opinions and that is great. A lot of people post that they "hate" this and that, I have posted in the past that I "hate" black interiors......but it seem like in your case expressing your opinions also involves ridiculing other's tastes or opinions......that is what reminds people here of the Roadfly days.

Anyways, welcome to the board.......

Well done 555. Spoken like a true champion of the E60 Information Network. We can all sleep better knowing that someone who can afford the low end E60 patrols the discussion boards and tries to keep the lowly women of the world from posting. Heaven forbid anyone from giving their opinion on an Internet discussion board lest they be called a troll

Miss,

It's totally fine to say that it's not your cup of tea, 'Darlin', but to slam it with an adjective like "puke"?

Then you somehow played a 'gender card' out of your a$$ for some reason! Maybe you can also play a 'race card' that's also ridiculous.

The black exterior looks beautiful and the black wheels are sharp.?

But my goodness man, the puke orange (aka auburn) interior is simply butt ugly.

With love
