I have a feeling that these wipers might have the same ill-effects that Rain-X does.
While Rain-X is nice when you've recently applied it.... it actually causes problems as it wears off.
It begins to gum up the windshield and tears up wiper blades. Wipers begin to skip and chatter on the glass.
You must constantly keep applying the chemical.
And once you have applied it, you can never get it off either. It will gradually wear off over time, but never fully.
