Its a cut, resize and paste. Easy with Photoshop!!
You can even use the circle selection tool, so the whole job is 15 seconds!

It doesnt look good on the 5 for some reason... too busy... stands out too much... looks like aliens on the rims I dunno... just doesnt look right.

IMO E60 may look better if they use the 7-series rims.

Check out www.tirerack.com, you can't look at BMW stock wheels, but can see any other wheels on the car without photoshop.
