My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
just read a post from someone in the UK who tried it.
He just got a speeding ticket from a normal gatso camera through the door.

A good way could be a superpower IR light in the rear glass .
Or dredge license plate with some substance that with an UV light take on a phosphorescent color .
The problem is to know what you need and to find the liquid substance (for the light http://www.roithner-laser.com/ : I have ordered the most powerful IR led* from epitex.com that produces them and mounted it on the plate, but the car cut the electricity saysing that a lamp was failed)
Otherwise you need to be in the "white list" of the cars of police/intelligence forces .

I saw that lamp apparently turned off near a videocamera .. I thought "Mhhh .. It could be IR .." and I photographed it .. And in fact ...

I just want to mention another thing:
IN most cases when the police sets up a mobile radar trap for a couple hours, they are still there and they write down the license plater number by hand, after seeing it with their own eyes, not through the lense.
They need to do that, espacially because there are some vehicles where there's one or both license plates not in the proper place, or for motor bikes, where there's just a rear plate.
So, instead of looking for crap that doesn't help you and that can get you in deeper troubles wit hthe law enforcement... Do not drive toooooo fast, just a little bit more than allowed, if you need to...

Totally agree Iceman.
Another funny and ridicolous "urban legend" is that if you put 2 or 3 CDs sticked to the back of the rear headrests, the camera flash is reflected and the photo is only a big bright spot.
I have seen cars with this "solution" and, believe me, they really look stupid!

And those ppl are kind of stupid, because the CD's are in ther sight, so they are not seeing enough when going around a corner. Actually that's why it is illegal in Germany to have something on your dashboard, because it's distracting.
