I heard that the "BMW Performance Parts Program" is not doing well and that is the reason that BMW leaned on a lot of dealers to drop products like Dinan and SSTT. The problem is that BMW is out of touch with it's customer with it's product offerings IMHO. For us it really sucks because (other than wheels and body kit) they don't offer anything for the 5 series. I am going to discuss this with my local dealer and see if they will consider handling Dinan again. They dropped Dinan in order to apparently support the factory performance program, I'm going to ask them how much factory stuff they have actually sold. To directly answer your question, I have not heard anything about factory performance parts for our E60's.
I haven't officially heard that BMWNA is pressuring dealers to end their Dinan dealer status. Can anyone officially confirm this?

Nobody said it was "official". But both of my local dealers (different ownership) have dropped Dinan and when asked why, they both said because they were going to carry the BMW performance parts. When I observed that there are no parts for E60's I just got a shrug of the shoulders. One of these dealers was preasuring me to do the flash in November and when I went back to get it woould not do it in February. You can draw your own conclusions.
