I'm looking for performance clutch options for my 2005 545i Sport 6sp. My current clutch slips on hard power shifts and I want to boost the performance of the stock motor once the clutch is taken care of. Anyone know of a good performance supplier for clutch parts for an E60 545i? Also looking for a good SC or turbo option if you know of any out there.

Thanks! That looks like a good option for a OE replacement. I'm looking for something with more holding force and torque capacity as I intend to upgrade the car with a SC or turbo.

 

i have a 545i with a 6spd too. doesn't seem to be much out there for increased torque.

i wonder if an M5 clutch would fit? you could buy one of each (OE 545 and M5), measure and compare dimensions, and then send the OE and/or M5 back if it doesn't fit.

clutchmasters makes one for the 5.0 litre M5. i have a clutchmaster in my modded z32 TT, it has 80k on it with no problems yet, seems to be a good product.

 

I think you can do a M% clutch and flywheel swap, not 100% though
