8. wheels (besides a kit the most important appearance mod)
9. badges
10. tint
11. lowering springs
12. led side markers
id say the most important are 1, 8, 2.
wheels cost: 2000-4000 (obviously you can spend more but on a budget your not going to)
shadowline: 200-240ish
black kidneys: 20-70 (depends if you buy, paint, or buy used)
I know because ive modded on a budget. The private member classifieds help a lot. I bought my wheels from Michael at Acute Performance. Otherwise i picked up the following items from the classifieds: my spoiler, muffler, extra set of chrome kidneys that i painted black, and solaris invisibulbs.
mods ive done by myself: tinted tails, painted kidneys, and painted chrome trim black

I said I wanted to do that but then I was told that I should be proud of what I have and that putting an m5 badge wouldnt be cool. I mean if people saw the badge only about 2% of them would be able to say "thats not an m5." so really it doesnt matter because the other 98 will say "what is an m5"

Haha your profile picture reminds me that I'm going to the yankees rays game tomorrow. Usually I would be rooting for the rays but on this occasion I've decided to wear my jeter jersey because I hear making fun of the rays fans was fun. Should be interesting...
