I have coded this today and it worked fine.
Until i messed something up by pressing the trunk release button.
Is it possible that I have accidently entered some kind of code by pressing it which disabled pathway lighting?
Or maybe there is some kind of power saving feature which prevents battery from draining it out and didn't allow me to activate pathway lighting or several times in a short period (1-2 mins)? This crossed my mind but I haven't tried to activate it afterwards as I was in a hurry. Will try in the morning

There is no power saving feature.
I have recoded pathway lighting and works fine now.
I must have done something by pressing trunk lid button which prevented pathway lighting from activating.
So if you will test if you lost remote trunk lid opening after coding pathway lighting, don't press the key fob repeatedly. It should pop open 2 secs after lights go on

Actually there is a powersaving feature. If the car detects the battery is getting emty it will disable features like pathway ligthing and welcome lights. Next time you use the car and the battery is back to normal it will work again. I have seen it a few times on my car.

There is also the function called MAX_BETAETIGUNG_FOMEHO which regulates maximum number of homelights activations. In my car is set to 2 times by default.
