What parameters needs to be changed to have this feature for LCI (UK) model with Fogs as well?
Thanks

The KL58G (or your KL58G_1 for you) is set to Aktiv to allow the interior lights to come on at the same time as the exterior lights when you use the pathway lighting function. You don't have to activate it, it's optional.

Ehhh, I can't remember exactly. If I remember this thread, I will post it next time I am coding.

You need to set SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM in the CAS to panikalarm.

E87 LCI without iDrive here. (FRM3_E89.C32)

Coded this to aktiv:
HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL
That didn't work

After I put this one to 'panikalarm' it worked but only for a few seconds.
SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM

After switching this to nicht_aktiv they stay on for a while.
HEIMLEUCHTEN_ABBRUCH

Now the trunk is not opening with remote anymore.
The panikalarm is not working but that wasn't activated before this coding either.
I found someone who said to change "PANIK_ALARM" to aktiv in the DWAI module if the trunk is not opening but I don't have a DWAI module so can't test that.

After testing a few times it was not possible to test it again before running te car.
Via nettodat coding you can change that value for these 'times'.

Function:
MAX_BETAETIGUNG_FOMEHO

Standard value: wert_02 = 05 = 5x
You can change this value between 00 and 0F.
00=0 = wert_01
0F= 15x

Note:
15 times may be a problem for your battery.

/edit:
After nettodat coding for function "MAX_BETAETIGUNG_FOMEHO" it's very strange.
Originel is 05 hexadecimal = 5 decimal = 3 times reality... so I thought it's the decimal value - 2
Put the hexadecimal data to 07, what's 7 decimal, that sould be 5x in reality...
After testing it's only 4 times... so value - 3.
Very strange.

About the trunk release:
It's working but not the same way I've read in a few posts.
For me it's like this:
-Short click on the trunk fob buttom: pathway light activated
-Another click, little longer: trunk opens
-Another long clock: nothing happens

Is this the same for you guys or do you only need to click once and hold the buttom a little longer to release the trunk?

I just did this w/out any adverse effects. Worked like a charm on my 11/05 build 2006 M5.

Thanks nomis!

Spasta, about

Yep it's the same for me on a '04 E61. Short click activates the pathway lights and a second click opens the trunk.

I just coded:

LMA:
HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL
aktiv
(didn't work with only this parameter coded)

CAS:
SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM
panikalarm

Didn't made any other changes to get this the way it is now. I'm quite pleased with it this way. I don't have an automatic opening trunk so I never used the trunk release button in the past as you still have to manualy open the trunk. Now at least the button has a function I can use.

Guys,

The HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL option is for activating the pathway with the trunk button on the key fob, but which option gives us the ability to turn OFF the pathway, again with the trunk button, once it is already active? I've checked all parameters in the LMA having something to do with HEIMLE... but now luck
