So I get the estimate to replace and fix my 08 e60 pass sideview mirror and backcover..$45 for the backcover, $85 to paint it,$324 for the actual glass. $98 per hour for labor 1 1/2 hours...So almost $700 bux for a dang mirror. What should I do. is there a cheaper route. All suggestions welcome..

Wow for $700, you might as well add more $ towards M5 mirrors. Or buy from a junkyard..

At that price you could get some nice replica M5 mirrors and replace both sides...

Another option is check sites that sell used BMW parts from wrecked cars or by going to a junkyard.
