Hey guys i have a question about Brakes, is it possible to put the stock 2008 e90 M3 Brakes on my 08 e60 535i???

I am not sure how in USA, but in UK it is just impossible to find M5 brakes, spent 6 month searching without any luck, only saw once on ebay but was over priced. I think seller was asking £1500 for all kit, but discs needed replacing.

M5 brakes are hard to find in hawaii. my friend upgraded his brakes so he was gunna give them to me. so i was just wondering if they would bolt up the same.

will not work unfortunately, do you know anyone from the bmw dealer that can hook you up with
the calipers and rotors? that's what i did on mine, bought the m5 brake system, its a bout 2k cheaper than a BBK! just a thought buddy good luck!

thanks for the update, Shux! i have a friends with M5s but none of them wanna upgrade their brakes =(. i can try check the dealership.

I did the same.... may not be "brembo" or anything like that, but if it can stop a M5 then its good enough for me!!!

yeah thats all i want is the m5 brakes their discs look really cool how they are drilled and a lot bigger than the stock 535i.

Now we know why...... Just pick yourself up some drilled/slotted rotors. Done. A lot easier and cheaper then complete new brakes..... you then can go ahead and paint your calipers. Drilled rotors do look cool. Just did mine!!
