Hi guys,

After the issue with my alternator seems to be fixed I decided do some small mods and flyeye tint my friends Audi TT rear lights. (www.flyeyeskit.co.uk) Then more friends came round with their cars and we had a modding day.

I trimmed my front number plate to make it slimmer and look more slick and attached it to my bumper using bolts with a carbon fibre AC Schnitzer logo sticker to cover the top. Also did my rear number plate, used same bolts and covered key hole with same sticker.
Pics of rear number plate:

Then I covered the door handle key hole with the same sticker:

We had some left over vinyl so wrapped the indicators.

Then my friend came with his Golf GT, and some spray cans like this:

He removed his OEM Golf GTi rims and sprayed them, I believe this spray is quite similar to what you guys in the US call Plastidip.
We also sprayed his front VW emblem, painted his brake calipers red and flyeyed his rear lights.
Unfortunately I don't have pics of any of these
This is because when I saw the effect it had on his wheels I sent a friend to the shop to go and buy 5 more cans because I wanted to do mine.

We then sprayed the center caps on the Audi TT and the front Audi emblem.
I couldn't convince him to spray his whole wheels which I think would look a lot better.
Just after pics, forgot to take before pics:

Then my friend turned up in his BMW 320i, last week he put an MTech rear and has ordered an OEM M3 front, ACS roof and boot spoilers, black badges and grilles. He will then paint his mirrors, roof, roof spoiler and rear diffuser gloss black. I took his front grilles off and sprayed them matte black until these items arrive. Again forgot to take pics

So now you have had the starters it's time to move on to the main course. My rims.
First of all I removed the wheel and sprayed the calipers red.

Forgot to take after pics but you will see them later behind the wheel

I had some carbon fibre valve caps waiting to be put on, they had chrome ends so I taped up the CF and painted them the same colour as my wheels:

Also sprayed my iDrive controller:

And stuck some BMW stickers on my mirrors:

Finally, I took off my window trim which I had previously wrapped in vinyl and gave them a few coats of spray:

Gonna order CF center caps to complete my wheel and compliment the CF badges I already have on my boot, bonnet and steering wheel.

Car looks sporty! I like it! everything except the black trim/cover over the headlights. Kinda looks like mascara, lol.
Anyway, I hope you and your friends had a good time modding. I love days like that.

Thank you. it's a carbon fibre eyebrow. Divided the forum when I did it CF Eyebrow thread
They seem to have yellowed a bit now that I look at these pics.

It was a good day, hopefully next weekend we'll continue with some other cars of our friends.

Very nice. I especially like what you did with your calipers. I want something similar with mine. Did you use a specific spray paint with high heat protection?
