Well I just woke up getting ready for class...once again man big thumbs up! I can't even install a HID kit let alone do this! When is the full install going to be finished? So are you using another car right now...because your E60 has its lights cut apart

Hey Man, This is what i've been doing with the eyebrow mod, using SMD LED strips, only problem is, sometimes it burns out. Some people it doesn't burn out, but some does. Mine has been fine for the past year. I would say, get rid of the circuit board and slap that SMD LED for the eyebrow again, that's good work. I never thought of that. LOL

As Mike said above, one thing I would be concerned with is reliability. I have done the eyebrow mod using SMD strips as well, and though it works for most people, it became a headache when I had one guy's blow out over and over. It was madness as there appear to be no pattern or clues to when, how, or why -- as the time would happen randomly, only one or two would go out (but sometimes come back), etc.
At the end of the day, I have determined that it's not worth the trouble/headache of reopening and stick with something that's consistent and reliable.

Haha, yah. If you had messaged me prior, I probably could've warned you about it blowing up, lol. I believe Nelson went through a similar situation and fried his board as well.
I'll give you the advice I gave to John. If you have an external power source, run the LED strip on 14.6v or so for a few days. When the car is on, it seems the current run from anywhere from 12v to 14 and a half. During this time, if you have LEDs blow out (not all are made equal, sadly), just replace them and continue testing. Hopefully, what you'll end up with is 12 good LEDs resilient enough to withstand the power surge/fluctuation with the car turning on/off.
Plus this way, you won't have to deal with possibly reopening and sealing should they go out without testing.
Soon, you'll learn that sealing the eyebrow and the headlight perfectly is more of a challenge than you'd imagine, lol.

So I wont worry about that, for the sealing of headlights. It was a piece of CAKE.
The glue was the only thing getting messy and I still have it on my fingers but other than that I would say it was just fine

I am banking on GE Silicone 2 -- Specialist recommendation
I am pretty sure as far as the headlight goes I am covered, the only thing I am a little worried about is the eyebrow but hopefully it should be okay
