This simple modification is a must on LCI cars IMO.
I removed the reflectors (very easy to do) and got them painted at the local body shop. Here are some pics:

How did you pop out the reflector? When I did it on my old M3, it was pretty easy, but I did break one of the body color replacements the first time. On my 550 they seem MUCH more snug in there.

Good stuff... I would do the same to mine too, but I have no reflector of that sort

It's very easy, in the first picture you'll see where the clips go in at the bottom, just pinch them together and they'll pop out when pushed. You may have to reach behind the wheel liner a little bit.

Congrats!!

I purchase sidemarker and turn signal bulbs from Bimmian - no yellow on my car.
Which one do I need? http://www.bimmian.com/elements/product.ht...is/1.htm?veh=60

I just ordered euro sidemarkers from my dealer P/N 63217165496, around $12 for both.
The part number for front turn signal is 63217160897, has anyone used them?

Great Mod. I just joined the forum and I've been reading around a lot and I see the term Pre-LCI and LCI come up a lot. I did a search and I know it stands for Lifestyle Impulse or a mid-life facelift but what does it exactly mean? I'm about to get a 08 528i so which category will my car fit in? I assume LCI? I'm from the U.S. btw if that makes a difference. Also do you know if you can remove the chrome trim attached to the net piece on your front bumper? I'm trying to make my 528i all black soon.
