What would I tell the dealers? I've already asked 3 dealers and they told me that there is no cooling off period by the law and they advised me not to think about it for another year. I'm not sure if I was using the right language or asking for the right thing.

need some info on your car... how many miles on it so far?? how many payments have you made?? ect.

Just enjoy your car. You'll like it regardless. It may not be the fastest 0-60, but it's a BMW and nothing, outside of the exotics, feels or handles like a BMW. That to me, is sometimes more important than pure HP.

id tell you the same thing... but if you're paying $ everymonth its gotta be for something you abosolutely like... its your $ everymonth and everyone make puchase mistakes... not so often in large purchases like cars because people usually reaserch more in tha area but i just think if your going to get out it has to be sooner than later b4 the 528 looses more value. if having a 535i is between 20-50 more per month id say do it if its going to make you happy and proud to make the payments everymonth.

I just know myself too well and i know i wouldnd feel comfortable making payments everymonth and wishing id be making them on another car i like within range but every one is different on this. the 528 is a good car but if you were shopping for a 5'er for the performance aspect the 535 was the choice from the start.

You're right. I think it's a great car and I love it. But what bothers me is the feeling that I've been fooled.

It's the 2008 530i. They tuned the 2007's 530 engine a bit and put it on the 528i.

Let me guess...that dealer didn't have any 535i's that fit your requirements in stock? I had a Lexus salesman try and pull that cra@ on me, actually told me the car I was looking for had been discontinued and I wouldn't (GS 430 (V8) be able to find one...and of course he had several of the V6's in stock. Funny how the next Lexus dearer had two of the 430's sitting on his lot....so transparent these greedy, unethical salesguys are!!

That's no fun learning the expensive way. Leases are extremely hard (read expensive) to get out of - especially in the front end. You may want to run an add and see if there is anyone who would take over the lease from you - but you'd have to plan on walking away with little to no cash. Or, just learn to live with it...still a very nice car and know that your next one will be exactly what you want!!

Good luck!
