Headers for my car Tony are only $1000-1500! So this is super expensive considering what the gains are! Most exhaust
run around $3000-5000 for my car...I know its made of titanium, but that doesn't justify the cost for me...A full bolt
on turbo kit, putting my car up to 750-800hp is around this price!

Akrapovic is no joke. iND just put a FULL carbon fiber Akrapovic system on a 2010 E92 M3 Atlantis Blue and they won 1st place with this car at Bimmerfest. The thing is AMAZING...... I MEAN AMAZING......I watched in awe as this car was being stripped apart and rebuilt for months. I think the customer paid over what some houses cost in mods to this M3, no joke. This is the most badass M3 I've ever seen. ESS supercharger, 700 HP, roll cage, carbon fiber doors, rear, custom guages, BBS wheels that aren't even out yet (I think only 4 sets ever made). I'm very proud to have everything on my car done by these guys.

There are no engine performance gain benefits between a titanium system versus a stainless steel. The additional performance benefit is in weight reduction. Losing 50 pounds on your rear axle on a Porsche will definately make a difference. Even more so on the light weight and rear wheel driven GT3 models.

P.S.: That Evolution system for the 997TT isn't 14-15k, we can get it for under 12k delivered to your door. It's obvious this dealer is trying to make insane profits off currency exchange!

I don't agree. This guy loves BMW, clearly, and this car is one of a kind. A pony is a pony, you see Ferrari here and there, but this car is far beyond exotic.

The guy happens to be an extremely wealthy person in the Chicago area. His car collection consists of the finest exotics in the world including a couple of Veyrons, Mercedes SLR, Lambos, Astons, Bentleys...

Here's the thread that IND posted on M5Board regarding the build for this M3 and the car collection belonging to the owner. If I was that rich, hell yeah, I'd spend bucks on making something unique like he did. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...3-build-3.html

I didn't know performance parts for Porsches were that cheap. If that's the case, what the hell are you waiting for? Your car should be putting out about a thousand hp already. hahaha

LOL it's always easier when you have boatloads of cash, if it was me though I'd choose something more unique than an M3 - for less than $200k you can easily build a 1200hp R34 Nissan GT-R and those are VERY rare here stateside.

Yeah, your options are limitless when you have the cash so things just boil down to preference. If I had the money, sure I'd buy a host of exotics but would still modify my M5 to the max. Maybe stroker + SC or turbo. Would be a fun project.
