I am not big on black wheels, but I like chrome, and most do not. If you like it, that is all that matters. It looks good, but would not be my choice.

Mike,

My opinion is worthless. But i think i would not use those rimms on my e60. I dont think they match that well. The rimms are nice..the color is what I think is a no no. it is making you e60 looks like a honda wanna be!

But then again, you spend your money, and you went with the taste. Enjoy it!

No need to get nasty amigo. A Honda wanna be???? I don't think so. Maybe you'll show up at the NY meet and you'll have a different opinion once you see my car in person. Then again, maybe not.

Have to agree. All the pictures are from pretty close, so it is difficult to get a really good impression of what it looks like from a bit of a distance. It's from a distance than a car's perception is created.

I personally think there is a too big contrast between the silver grey exterior and the black rims, so that the rims really get too much of the attention.
Black rims for me are OK if you go for a totally black look, then the color of the rims is absorbed by the overall look.

Hey, but then again, there's people here that clearly like it. It proves that you cannot argue taste. My opinion is not worth anymore than your own...even less since it is your car, poleposition !!

I have no problem with mods, however, I can't handle black wheels. They remind me of wearing a great suit with black Chuck Taylor high tops. Sort of like Penn State's uni's with the generic white with black shoes. But- the important thing is for U to be U. To quote Sly and the Family Stone from '68, "different strokes for different folks". (Showin' every one of my 53 years.)
