Ok so I have a 2007 530xi with 18" 123 wheels all round. I ordered a set of 128s 20s black non OEM. so I then Ordered my tires and The guy at the shop sold 2 of them right away. I was urgent to throw on my 20s, so I only did the rear set of two. Drove the car for like maybe 7 mls and the front differetial started leaking fluid and my passenger axel got messed up. Any ideas why this happened?? I got it fixed and the differential got messed up again!! Im thinking its the wheels that the front ones are 18"s and the rear are 20's.
If this is true what you're telling, I guess the overall diameter of the wheels + tires is different enough to brake the system.

Those wheels are completely wrong for your car. You have an XI. The 128's are the completely wrong offset. Return those wheels and the tires and start over. Do a search on here for what works and what doesn't. Look for many of my old posts. I had an XI before this and used to be the resident expert.

I have just bought a set of 19" Hartge Classic wheels and tires staggered 8.5 front with 235/35/19 and 9.5 rear with 275/30/19, both with 40 offset. I did a tire calculation and it seem like both tires are having the radius. Front has 80 in circumference with 792 revs/ml and the rear is 80.1 in circumference and 791 revs/ml. They look really good installed on my 530xi. Would it be problem since they are staggered? So far I havenot seen any problem yet or will there be?

If after cleaning up this mess you still prefer the 128's...they do come in a higher offset that would fit the xi. However, it's a 19" wheel not 20". They were optional on the X3, but will fit on an e60 x drive model. I can't recall the member's name who installed them, but they look AWESOME on the e60 IMO.

Here is a link to realoem.

EDIT: Here's the link to the car I was referring to(member Pauken4)

They are 20x8.5 ET+42. Basically I dont think I can return these, My best bet will be to sell them with tires if they are a no go for my car. Im gonna put them all on and give it a test run. I know a user that has these wheels on his xi, sweetnlow. His are chrome tho. I shall see. Thanks for the input.
