I am very cautious to buy these SSR GT3 wheels that are 20x9.5 all around with 24 offset. I am not 100% they will fit. Is $800 a good enough price to take a chance? Also what tire size would you recommend for fronts and rears?

Oh yes that's right!
I just automatically thought that 9,5" wide wheel would rub on the outer edge, but with the offset 24, it will probably rub inside, and then the spacer will help, but only if there's still room on the outer edge.

Hmm, please somebody enlighten me.
I have a 20x8.5 front ET18 and 20x9.5 rear ET20
I wanted a more aggressive setup, so I got 5mm and 15mm spacers for front and back.
Is this a safe option? I'm still waiting for the spacers to arrive so I don't know the final result.
Oh my tires are 245/30/20 front and 285/25/20 back

Go to your car and check if there's still room in the rear to push the wheel out that 15mm.

Thank for all the help! This forum is the ultimate for 5 series! So back to my last question, will the 20x9.5 offset 24et fit (pretty sure it will with some modification) and what tire size should I run in front and back?

Depends on if you want stretch or not. You could do 245/35/XX (whatever the wheel diameter is) for the front and 275/30/XX in the back. Or you could do 245/35/XX front and back or 245/35/XX front and 255/35/XX back.

I personally wouldn't go higher than 245 with a 9.5'' wheel in the front. Wider tire = more chance of rubbing.
For reference, people with 8.5'' fronts with safe offsets can potentially rub wtih 255 tires in the front. 255 is the standard front tire size for the E60 M5 which has wider front fenders. If you're worried about stretch, my last set of wheels was 10.5'' with 245's on it and it was perfectly fine.
