I just bought a set of OEM M6 takeoffs Wheels and tires. The fronts are 255 wide and backs are 285 wide. I'm wondering if anyone has tried putting this size on their e60. I have a 545i with sport package. I just don't want to have to throw away some good tires. Any ideas? If i drive slow enough, they will probably miniminally rub right? I will get the correct tire sizes that everyone uses on this forum when i use up the rest of the ones i bought. Also I picked these up for $1500....was this a good deal?
how the heck did you get them for 1500?? Are you sure they are OEM factory?? vince.

Yep that was the first thing that I checked was the part numbers ended with 146 and 147 and it came with the michelin pilot sports...so now i have an extra set of M6 tires i need to sell. Still have the sensors installed in them. Horraay for craigslist.
