Non-Xi 124 wheel works for Xi?

I know, there are lots of thread on this topic.
But it was not quite clear if I can use standard 124 wheels for Xi model.
Again, offsets for standard 124: 20/32
and offsets for Xi: 43/55
Is it impossible to use standard 124 wheels for Xi model?

Well ... will it works/fits ... yes ... the bolt pattern fits perfectly but it will protrude off the fender ... one of the Admin of this board got it on:
