I'd prefer nitrogen since there is less pressure loss along with less temperature variation, but I just use my little air compressor in the garage. Some even claim that you can achieve a better ride with nitrogen, but not quite sure how that works.

How much N does the tire need to achieve the effects of N. Does it have to be completely filled with N or will a few PSI work.

Given that air is already ~80% N, I'd think that anything less than 100% would not give you any benefits compared to air filling. That's assuming that you can detect any benefit at all.

I doubt you can actually feel a difference, but the fact that the tires will lose less pressure over time would be a big plus. Also, I believe track guys prefer nitrogen as the pressure increase with temperature is more consistent. But yeah, for a street driven car, I doubt it makes much of a difference.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU WHAT LOW LOW LOW NOSIC IN YOUR WHEELS.

From now on I will always get this, I just wish I found out about it when I started to buy cars
It will work on any make of tyre.
I just put Nitrogen in all of my 4 cars and WOW, I say the nosic has gone about 80%.
this is a very cheep in Hong Kong too only $13us for all 4 wheels and free refill if wheels are low, but if you get new tyres they will give it free to you.

you will feel the difference if your roads are bad or very bad like Hong Kong.

I just bought and installed some new tires for my E28 at Costco here in northern California. They now use nitrogen to inflate the tires and then they put a green valve cap on.
WOW free in US cool
