Erm, to do what?
For filling gas shock absorbers, nitrogen generally works best. For breathing, I prefer air.

I used it for breathing for a little while and I aged more and faster than Rudy as you can see from my avatar.

Nitrogen here. Getting my wheels powdercoated and the shop does it for 'free' (in addition to the outrageous price they charge for the PC'ing ). I never would have paid for it, but free is free.

I just bought and installed some new tires for my E28 at Costco here in northern California. They now use nitrogen to inflate the tires and then they put a green valve cap on.
