Nexen n3000 tires

i was also told that Nexens need to be balanced using two weights (stick on ones). One on each side of the rim, not the ones that clip to the rim but ones that are stuck with double sided tape or something on the inside. I guess you can select which way to balance. They showed me the difference at the tire shop. They were right becasue it sorted out my problem. Right now i have only been up to 160 km / hr and the car is smooth.
BMW only blance with one weight and that's fine for higher end tires.

Check your bushings. I had the same problem and it was my lower controller arm bushings. When i replaced those i was fine. I was running on oringal type tires new and had that problem. Now I have N3000's 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in rear......... I get the staggered set for about $450 for this size so they're a hell of a deal for me. I mount and balance with a friend and I watch him do it....
It doesn't matter if you use clamp on weights or the stickies....... you adjust depending on the wheel and what it's spitting out to the computer....you adjust until you get 0.
Check your bushings you may be surprised....2004 with 70,000 miles and had cracked bushings.
If you're going with 18" rim go with nexen N5000. You'll get around 50-60K miles out of them! And they handle perfect. They're similar to Continental Touring Tread. Good dry and water tires too IMO
