I'm definitely leaning to NEX GT Coilovers after some good comments left from TakmaN and Praisethelowered. My next question is has anyone else other then TakmaN bought this setup? I really want to pick up a set in about two weeks but, I want to know for sure if I can depend on these.
My car definitely needs a lowering....

Here's some food for thought . So far so good, and I'm having a blast with them. My only gripe (and from someone else) is that you can't lower the fronts nearly as much as the rears. I have about a 1 finger gap and can lower it maybe 1-1.5 more inches. Also I was told about another member having to put on 5mm spacers in the front to clear the struts. I don't have that problem with my wheels though. *Hint* use the best offer option on ebay...
I just noticed you're local, let me know if you want to see what they're like on my car and I'd be more than happy to meet up so you can test them out.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Another option will be to hold off for redEYEjedi and myself to try out the KSport coilovers for Acute Performance (Michael) - I should be getting mine within the next 2 weeks and have them installed immediately since I am impatient. Then alignment and I should be good

Yea I really wanted to try the K Sports out too but the Nex's were too cheap to resist. I held off on writing an official review since I wanted to see how the K Sports were first. I didn't want to write a review and have everyone jump on Nex's if the K Sports turned out to be better. I have to admit though, for the price of Nex's, they will be hard to beat.

Hey guys,
So I installed these myself on Wed. The fronts do not go nearly as low as the rears. you can completely dump the rears if you want. as for the fronts, If you max them out, there's barely wheel gap. For me the front is low enough, so I'm really happy with the look. I had to add 5mm spacers up front as I was rubbing on the strut. My wheel now clears the strut by 2-3mm.
As for performance. I've only had the on a few days now, and all I can say is WOW. Really, not bouncy at all(and the Montreal roads are garbage), stiff and very responsive. They do have the shock adjustment, and I think I've found the right settings for myself.
I cannot compare these to KW, H&R or JIC first hand since I've never had them on the E60. But IMHO these are definitely worth the price.
Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask
