I've installed and uninstalled AIB v1 twice, and v2 twice in the M5 before upgrading to LCI headlights. It's definitely doable without pulling the headlights out, it's justt a pain to do.... and even more of a pain to do multiple times.

 

mission accomplished, i had to do a little modifying...... it wasnt an even swap, the connector didn't fit on the mtechs it was too loose, so i played with it a little and used a bit of tape to keep it connected...

they look nice, a tad brighter than oems but brilliantly white during the daytime they are dim, no changes in that department

i'm satisfied

 

I just bought an 07 e60 and would like to upgrade the angle eyes to 7000kw but most of the kits state must be fitted on march 07 pre facelift e60 with xenon headlights. I dont think the car has xenon headlights is it still possible to upgrade the angel eyes to 7000kw?
