you can just use some spring kit to lower your car. coilovers are costly. unless u really need to have them.

btw, is the shadowline trim an OEM part?

Thanks for the info, and I will do some more checking next week, and yes, The shadowline trim I want is BMW OEM. I cked with my source, and my price for just the shadowline trim from the parts dept at my local BMW dealer is $550.00!! To me $550.00 is way too much, now I am afraid to ask how much it will cost to get it installed! (LOL)

500 bucks is a joke dude. Call Garry Romani at Newport BMW and you can get them shipped to you for just over 200 bucks total.
Skip the installation and do it yourself....I did it, its easy. Check the DIY section.

Everyone I got a '06 525i titanium gray metallic with 166 wheels going to Eurorev to get some mods done.

I love the car in this pic and many of you will recognize it as being in the gallery for exterior color pics.

Attachment 55069

I'm adding a M-tech kit, shadow trim, tinted tail lights, 15mm spacers but to get my car to look like this do I need to drop it? How do I achieve this look? here is my car....

any other suggestions?

If I do drop it, what is the best way and still keeping a comfort ride?

thanks from the new guy.
First off, welcome on board!

Looks like you've found vegastrashed's car there "mid-life", before a whole load more mods came into play such as M5 mirrors, 20s, splitter, etc. -- that car inspired a LOT of people here

Sounds like the others are helping you with the suspension. You already mentioned M-tech kit, shadow trim, tinted tail lights, 15mm spacers, so that just leaves you needing the M5 Trunk Finisher, which sits around the licence plate and flattens off the trunk. With those mods, you ride should look like the one in the photo! John can sort you out with the M5 trunk finisher as well.

Dear Jake (aka jdhart73),

WOW thanks dude, now are you certain just over $200.00 + Shipping from Garry at BMW of Newport of R.I. for a complete set of BMW OEM Gloss Black Shadowline Window Trim?

Anyway, I thought $500.00 was way too much from my BMW dealer here in Atlanta GA, (The parts manager here in Atlanta tried to tell me $500.00 was my BMW NA parts cost and I was getting a great deal, because its is over 700.00 MSRP!! LOL), and I have got a call into Garry Romani at BMW of Newport in R.I. and left him a voice mail, because that is a great price just over $200.00, and I am going to order it from him as soon as he calls me back in the morning for just over $200.00 + Shipping!!!

I do appreciate the heads up, and Thanks again Jake,

Sincerely,

Eddie Presley aka Presley348
