I'm adding a M-tech kit, shadow trim, tinted tail lights, 15mm spacers but to get my car to look like this do I need to drop it? How do I achieve this look? here is my car....

any other suggestions?
If I do drop it, what is the best way and still keeping a comfort ride?
thanks from the new guy.

Drop it like it's hot!
With just springs ride quality will definately suffer. Coilovers is another option!

not true... ride is just more closer to the ground. Nothing drastic.

Because the car is more closer to the ground and you will feel all the imperfects of the road... trust me. I've ridden in stock and H&R sports springs e60s and the car feels similar.
Coilovers on the other hand are rough... especially if you are slammed

When I got my H&R's installed the small bumps in the road started feeling bigger! My car definately feels a bit stiffer when going over bumps.. You wanna fight John?

If you want a "factory like" ride and are willing to spend the money then get coilovers. They will allow you to take away the wheel/fender gap and adjust the height and ride to your liking. With springs you get a fixed height and lose strut travel so obviously the ride will be a bit stiffer. It also depends if you are running 19, 20"s etc on your wheels.
Maybe look at buying a splitter for the front? I have the same color car (titanium gray) and will be posting pics of mine this week with new coilovers and 20's...PM ME if you want me to send you a few pics.

But not all coilovers are the same... some only allow adjustment of height, while others allow both height and dampening. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
H&R sport springs (+ Bilstein sport shocks) aren't that rough. Had them in my E39 with 19" wheels.
