Newbie Hellos and Help

Hey all,
Wanted to say Hi and come begging for help after hours of melting my brain scouring boards for a clear answer.....
Through my adventures on the net, I keep running into the same problem that I hear repeatedly surrounding Sirius and iPod connections for '04 E60s.
a) Denison Icelink. No good cause it simply doesnt exist yet,
b) Sirius is available for 3s and Xs... but not for the 04 530i. It seems that getting the aux in would fix this Sirius issue
(Sorry, couldn't resist)
The question is simply " Is there a solution to get both? ". I have no problem investing in a head unit if necessary (Currently I have the stock stereo (I think that is the DSP - no nav; How far off am I?) Cost is not a huge option, but I would like to think it can be done for a grand or less installed professionally. Any thoughts??
