If you go back and read my previous post, I ordered the part, had it installed and pics are on the forum.?

Mine cost 58Euro or $71.56.

I had them do the install.? I don't have the tools or workplace.? Also, didn't want to screw up the long piece that runs along the dash.? It must be removed.

Dealer told me the pieces are back ordered. Hopefully we get them by the end of the month. After blowing >$800 on a new rim and tire I don't mind to wait to blow anohter $100 or so. So no rush I guess.

the parts mgr just called me couple hours ago and brought me some bad news :'(. the only wood piece w/the cubby hole that he could find is with a nav dvd slot but i don't have the nav system <_<. it'll look funny w/the extra slot for nothing . he said he could find different colors but not the one w/only the cd slot . i'm hoping some of you guys will have the part number for poplar wood, no nav system, and with the cubby hole. thanks in advance .

Your dealer has just found something that BMW doesn't have!!!

Cars with nav pro and US cars with nav (that is nav pro...) never have the cubby hole. The second drive is coming with the nav (pro)...

So if he found a piece with the dvd drive, what you only get with nav (pro) and what automatically means you have the CCC (what is right behind the wood trim where the cubby hole is on non-nav cars (or cars with nav bus in Europe), he found something that is not available on our cars... Is your dealer a magician? David Copperfield maybe ?

Yes. They told me, then showed me that my front passenger side rim was bent so I had them replace it but only after they gave me the BMWCCA discount on both the rim and the rear tire. It saved me a little, not all that much in retrospect, but it made me feel better.

No nav = hole, no dvd slot
Pro nav = no hole, dvd slot

I never thought about the dvd slot but in this case it happens to work itself out naturally.
