Anyone one how much does the rubber strips on the wiper blade cost? Mine are aged and need to be replaced. I asked my SA when my car was in service yesterday and he said they cost CAD$90 (US$80) a pair! That's a pretty ridiculous price! I thought that is covered under the warranty but he said it's not.

In the US you'd be under warranty, but I don't know about Canada. I'd buy them from an auto parts store or somewhere similar rather than going to the dealer. There is absolutely NO REASON to spend $80 USD on wiper blades. I just picked up wiper blades for my other car (Honda s2000) for $20/pair and I thought that was a bit steep.

If you use enough RainX or RejeX, you can run them three or four times as long.

More often than not, especially before long road trips. Makes the car slicker and knifes through the air easier -- results in better mileage. Comes off glass easily, better than RainX.

...also 303 Protectant will extend the life of the blades. Between Rain-X/Rejex and 303 you might never have to replace them. Also, Michelin "Optimum" blades are coming out for the E60 starting in June 2007. Driver's side: 24-inches...passenger: 22-inches.

Right. My son is driving my previous 1997 E39 in Denver with 115k and the original wiper blades. He passed the Colorado safety inspection last month.
