Nice! i have the 8500 x50 blue and its saved my ass many manyyyy times! Wheres the best place to mount it? High or low? Everyone seems to have a different take on that question.

That way there is nothing obstructing the forward view of it, AND the GPS has a clear path upward for maximum performance.
Typically lower means better laser detection, but you lose some range and are more prone to objects blocking your signal
and vise versa

It really makes the car silent. I threw away my old radar because it was so noisy.
I'm a bleeding edge techie kind of guy anyways.
It also displays a lot more information IMO.
Plus, it was convenient for me to finally get rid of these gift cards
