Not sure if this has been posted before.

I found this in the new accessories catalogue. Looks like a non M - Sports wheel with ruthenium inserts.

I like it!

That's the sports steering wheel.
Was available all the time.

Coincidentally, when dropping my car off for service this morning, I sat in a 645i convertible which had the same steering wheel--I liked it a lot.

Ok, guess it is only new in South Africa.
Would I be correct in assuming the ruthenium parts could be fitted to the M Sports wheel?

Anyone know the part numbers?

I have the sport package as well and this is my steering wheel. I believe the one above is the non-US sports steering wheel (not yet available for the E60 in US). Do you have a pic of yours?

The picture in post one looks like my wheel, except it's missing two very important paddles for shifting the SMG...

Anyway, check this thread out for some more pics of the different wheels:

I got a price for the Ruthenium piece - roughly US$ 80.

Will try to see if it can be fitted to the MSports wheel without loosing the centre strip where the M Badge is mounted.

I think that steering wheel goes with SMG in US.
