I just bought a pair of mirrors with all options; heated, folding, courtesey lights, auto dim and memory via ebay.
Currently my mirrors are only heated.
Has anyone retrofitted the full function mirrors already ? What can I expect ?
By the way, as a result of my retrofit comfort seats I had to change the "door module" to High (not sure what that means)
I do have another door switch panel with the folding button.
All tips welcome...

If you whated the option why did you not add them in when order the car? isit pre owned car?
If it was me I would change the mirrors to M5 stayle.

Correct it is pre-owned. I am not a fan of the M5 style mirrors.

OMG so much trouble for the folding function. I wanted too to buy a set of mirrors be it M5 style or Hamann with fold in fucntion but never thought it would be such a pain in the ass.

Not just folding, I will also have auto dim, courtesy lights and memory (very convenient as me and Mrs Midget both use the car and have to adjust mirrors al the time, seats do have memory).
Midget, how did this story finish? Did you install new mirrors with all its functions?
Thank in advance,
Witek
