My Ride: Now Driving a Freakin' Prius!
Was...
2004 545i | SMG | White/Black | Sport | NAV | Logic 7 | PDC | Fold-down Seats | Adaptive Headlights | Cold Weather Pkg | Clear-again Bra | Mud Flaps | Bluetooth | Coat Hangar | Aux Input | All Weather Mats | 18"X8.5" BBS RK w/ Michelin Pilot Alpin's (winter) | New steering rack @ 1.2K & 17K miles| Software V.19.1 | B&B Exhaust (vrrrroooooommm!) <---Click.
I actually placed an order for those and changed them at the last minute to the BBS RK's. I didn't like the look of the wheels on the car photos that they have @ Tire Rack (although there were no E60's) but I sure like them on your car. If I had seen your's first I would have most likely kept my order.

The BBS wheels are a tad more expensive but they may be sturdier (maybe, maybe not -- I'll find out)

I can vouch for the strength of the RS-GT's. They are 2-piece, each piece forged. This is pretty unusual, most high-end 2 piece wheels have spun-cast outer rims.
I slammed into a curb head-on a while ago while leaving a parking lot. I'm sure I would have bent any other rim, but no damage whatsoever to the BBS's. Also they're 10 lbs lighter than the 18" OEM wheels. Look great - I get lots of compliments - all in all an incredible wheel IMO.
